Of East-African Indian descent, Anjali Bulley started her career in book publishing in the commercial sector. Passionate about the arts and heritage sector, she joined the National Portrait Gallery in 1999, going on to work as Managing Editor in the publishing departments of the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tate. Winner of the Gold Award for Media, Art and Culture at the Asian Achievers Awards in 2010, she was also shortlisted for the Asian Women of Achievement Awards in 2011. She currently works as a freelance project manager and editor of fine art, fashion, design and photography books.
