Father Vivian Tyrell Champion de Crespigny (1907-1952); Vivian was the son of Tyrell Crespigny (1859-1946)and Kathleen Alice Wigram. His great grandfather Auguste fought at the battle of Trafalgar and was buried in Jamaica.
His ancestor built Crespigny House in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
