Hon. Beryl Cozens-Hardy was also an OBE, awarded for her service to Girl Guiding in 1971.

Her notable roles in Girl Guiding included:
Chief Commissioner (not Commander) of UK Girl Guides Association (1961-1970)
Chair of the World Association for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) (1972-1975)
Vice-President for life of Girl Guides Association (1975-2011)
