A 3/4 body portrait of Hobart in the robes and regalia of the Chief Justice of Common Pleas (a post he held from 1613 to 1625 by Daniel Mytens is in the National Trust’s collection at Blickling Hall, Norfolk. Blickling was purchased by Hobart while he was Chief Justice in 1616. A possible copy (its the reverse of the Blickling portrait was sold by Christies in 2008. There it was attributed to ‘a follower of Jan de Critz was sold by the auction house Christies in 2008. See: The composition of the NPG's portrait suggests it might be a copy based on the latter
