George Harrison was born in Liverpool in 1943 and during the Sixties was lead guitar with The Beatles. Since the break-up of the band he has concentrated on a mainly solo career of composition and recording. This photograph was taken at Harrison's Victorian mansion in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, where he has his recording studio.
