Self-taught portrait and advertising photographer, Casson had a studio at King's Road, Chelsea during the 1930s, and contributed to journals including Photographie. She is particularly known for her Surrealist photographs, including her doubleexposure work "Accident" (1935), reproduced in Helmut Gernsheim's survey Creative Photography: Aesthetic Trends 1839-1960 (1962).
