Luke Fraser was my great great great great grandfather. He lived at 22 India St Edinburgh. He had two daughters, one named Jane who died in 1828.
Luke Fraser taught Sir Walter Scott Latin.
It is my understanding that Luke Fraser was born into an impoverished family, but was seen to be bright by the local minister and taught Latin by him.
