Park was a founder member of the London Salon of Photography in 1910, before setting up studios on 43 Dover Street, London with his wife Yvonne Gregory and photographer Marcus Adams in 1919. An alternative pose was reproduced in Vogue (6 June 1928) and this portrait was used to advertise Lux toilet soap in Theatre Magazine in September 1929.
