Christine Keeler's screen test. Originally planned by Nicholas Luard, the film, which became The (Christine) Keeler Affair was first released in America and Denmark, written and directed by Robert Spafford and Matt White. Keeler, over-dubbed by an actress, introduced the film and was photographed by Tom Blau during a private screen test. Banned in Britain, the film gained instant notoriety. It was remade in 1989 as Scandal starring Joanne Whalley as Keeler, Bridget Fonda as Rice-Davies, John Hurt as Ward and Ian McKellen as Profumo.
