after a portrait by John Giles Eccardt (1720–1779). "Ochard" is probably an anglicization of Eccardt (or "Eccard") as he was sometimes known. Eccardt's original portrait of the sitter was offered for sale at Chiswick Auctions (13 June 2017, lot 528), although described as "Portrait of a Lady, possibly Lady Mary Wortley Montagu".
