Cook was renting a house in Beverly Hills with Keith Moon when O'Neill took this photograph. Dudley Moore visited his comedy partner in Hollywood and shortly after Cook also returned to live in the UK. Their partnership became well-known on television in Not Only... But Also (1965-71) and in films The Wrong Box (1966) and Bedazzled (1967). They also made many recordings together under the names Derek and Clive.
