O'Neill photographed The Beatles early on in their careers, in the year following the signing a record contract under the management of Brian Epstein. It was the year in which they had chart topping success with singles From Me to You, She Loves You and I Want to Hold Your Hand. Following their success in England and America ( in 1964) 'Beatlemania' spread across the world.
