Carlos I, unpopular because of his extravagant lifestyle and extramarital affairs, was succeeded by his younger son, Manuel, the last monarch of the Braganza dynasty.Following the death of the Guangxu Emperor in China, his two year old nephew replaces him, becoming the the last Manchu emperor of China.

This photo of Dame Clara Butt and her family was made as a Christmas greetings card for Xmas 1908. they all posed at the back of their home, "Compton lodge" 7 Harley Rd, Hampstead. Late 1908 following Claras tour of Australia, 1907/08. I have one the same as this, also one for the following year 1909. With different later photo.
