We own an exact copy of this photo in what appears to be the exact same format. The photo is mounted on a card mat that is rounded on the corners, and the edges are gold. The photo is labeled on the bottom as "Unser Kronprinz: und sein Umgebung vor der Villa Zirio in San Remo. The back of the card is blank, and the number 150 is written on the upper left in what appears to be pencil. In addition to the card, we also have an accompanying piece of paper with a printed sketch in which of all the persons in the photo are numbered and identified. The persons listed are:
Major von Raabe
Dr. Schrader, Leibarzt des Kronprinzen
Graf Sekendorf, militair. Begleit. d. Prinz. Heinr.
There are occasions when we are unsure of the identity of a sitter or artist, their life dates, occupation or have not recorded their family relationships. Sometimes we have not recorded the date of a portrait. Do you have specialist knowledge or a particular interest about any aspect of the portrait or sitter or artist that you can share with us? We would welcome any information that adds to and enhances our information and understanding about a particular portrait, sitter or artist.
