Alice's first child was a daughter named Anne who died at approx. 2 months of age.

Hugh's daughter Alice is buried in the same plot as him and at the time if her 100th birthday, the local people had the tombstone restored.

Another granddaughter of Alice.

Hugh Murnin was my great grandfather. He was a Labour MP having worked as a miner in Scotland. He instituted showers for the miners. Upon his death the miners union erected a grand statue as a gravestone. His daughter Alice was my Grandmother. She lived in Stirling to the age of 102 years. She married Tom O'Brien. Alice had a maiden sister Elizabeth and a Catholic Priest brother Canon Michael. Alice had 6 children. (John, Hugh, Michael, Alice, Kathleen and Tom) There are many descendants in U.K. & Canada.
