William Hayley is a direct ancestor of my husband. His mother was a Hayley. There were other Hayleys of fame including Thomas, a brother, Royal Navy, William Hayley 1920`s portrait. Dean of Chichester Cathedral and Vicars of Brightling and other parishes, in East Sussex from 1640`s.(Burrell Hayleys).
They are direct descendents of the British, French, Portugese, Royal Families back to 12 th century. 1940`s genealogy.
