The Yorkshire Evening Post, Yorkshire, England headlined a news report: "Leeds Baby Link With Ellen Terry" on the 20th December 1947. The baby was "born in Leeds" and is the great-greatniece of Dame Ellen Terry who was born a century ago in in 1847, the centenary being "celebrated next February". The report explains that the baby is the great-grandchild of actors "Julia Neilson and Fred Terry" who "presented" the "Scarlet Pimpernel" and "a host of other plays in the old days". Fred Terry is the brother of Ellen Terry. The article continues; the baby's mother, "Mrs Monica Glassborow, of Primley Park Mount, Alwoodley" is the "sister of Hazel Terry" and the "daughter of the late Denis Neilson Terry and Mary Glynne", all three of them actors. The article reports that Hazel Terry performed in "Hamlet" at the Grand Theatre in Leeds with her cousin Sir John Gielgud who "comes of another branch of the Terry family". The article reports that "the baby is to be christened Matita". Invited guests to the christening include: baby Matita's parents, "Mrs Monica Glassborow and Mr Maurice Glassborow", her paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Frederick Glassborow, her maternal grandmother Mary Glynne, and her aunts, Hazel Terry and Maurice Glassborow's twin sisters Valerie and Mary, who had married brothers; Valerie to Mr Peter Middleton and Mary to Mr Anthony Middleton.
