I am a great, great, great grandson of John Tomes. I have a « copy » of this picture, along with two etching prints of his son’s (Richard Tomes) garden in Warwick. They were a little more than solicitors owning the Tomes, Tomes and Russell Bank in Warwick, minting their own Bank notes.
