Dressed in the official Team GB kit for 2012, Sheffield-born track and field athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill mimics the stance for throwing a javelin, which is one of the seven events that make up the heptathlon. At the 2012 Olympic Games, Ennis-Hill won the gold medal in the heptathlon with a British and Commonwealth record-breaking score. She was appointed CBE in 2013 and gave birth to her first child in 2014. Ennis-Hill returned to competitive sport the following year and won the gold medal for the heptathlon at the World Athletics Championships.
