Advance booking is recommended. Please note that the exhibition is very popular so if you are booking via the phone or online some days have sold out, however, there is availability towards the end of the exhibition run in May 2012. If a date does not appear on the online booking page this day has sold out.
Final week: midnight opening
The exhibition will be open until midnight on 24, 25 and 26 May. Book tickets online or via the phone – see details below. The Portrait Restaurant will also be open extra late, taking dinner booking until 21.30.
Late nights

Advance tickets can be purchased (subject to availability) from the Ticket Desk in the Ondaatje Wing Main Hall with no booking fee. The Gallery opens at 10.00. Please note there may be a queue.
Tickets on the day
At least 500 tickets will be available for walk-in visitors from the Gallery on the day. These tickets are for available timeslots on that day, tickets for timeslots are allocated on a first, come first served basis. The Gallery opens at 10.00. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Please note there may be a queue.
Entry for Members
National Portrait Gallery Members get free, immediate access to exhibitions with no need to book or queue. Simply show your Membership card at the exhibition entrance.
You can join online and your confirmation email and relevant identification will entitle you to free entry to the exhibition when you present them at the Membership Desk, or you can join in person at the Gallery and benefit on the day.
Gift Aid tickets +
Full price £15.40 Concessions £14.30 and £13.20 + The ticket price includes a voluntary Gift Aid donation of 10% above the standard ticket price. If you donate we are able to claim Gift Aid on the full amount, not just the 10%. Your donation will help us to acquire outstanding portraits for our Collection.

Free admission
Gallery Supporters and children under 12 years in family groups. Family groups please note that the exhibition includes images of male and female nudity.

Senior Citizen Offer
Every Wednesday during the exhibition visitors aged 60 years and over can see the exhibition for only £12.
