Please note that the exhibition is very popular so if you are booking via the phone or online some days have sold out, however, there is availability towards the end of the exhibition run in May 2012. If a date does not appear on the online booking page this day has sold out.

Advance tickets can be purchased (subject to availability) from the Ticket Desk in the Ondaatje Wing Main Hall with no booking fee. The Gallery opens at 10.00. Please note there may be a queue.
At least 500 tickets will be available for walk-in visitors from the Gallery on the day. These tickets are for available timeslots on that day, tickets for timeslots are allocated on a first, come first served basis. The Gallery opens at 10.00. National Portrait Gallery Members get free, immediate access to exhibitions with no need to book or queue. Simply show your Membership card at the exhibition entrance.
You can join online and your confirmation email and relevant identification will entitle you to free entry to the exhibition when you present them at the Membership Desk, or you can join in person at the Gallery and benefit on the day.

Every Wednesday during the exhibition visitors aged 60 years and over can see the exhibition for only £12.
Book online for the first ticket time slot of the day and get two for one on full price tickets. Available Monday to Friday only.
