Kids Company

The Gallery worked in partnership with Kids Company to deliver a photography project working with photographers and young people. Taking inspiration from the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2012, the young people explored practical photographic skills and techniques to create their own portraits. Supported by Taylor Wessing, the Gallery also work with Taylor Wessing staff to deliver the project.

Kid’s Company provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children.

St Mungo’s


The Gallery worked in partnership with St Mungo’s charity for homeless people to deliver a photography project inspired by the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2011.  Working with St Mungo’s shelters in Cromwell Road and Endell Street, London, the group explored approaches to contemporary portrait photography and created their own portraits working with photographers.

Blackfriars Settlement

The Gallery worked in partnership with Blackfriars Settlement, a charity who provide services to the local community. Inspired by the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize,the group explored approaches to contemporary portrait photography and created their own portraits working with photographers.
