Welcome to the National Portrait Gallery Picture Description Resource.

These resources represent a selection of works that can be found on display at the National Portrait Gallery.

The picture descriptions are provided as text, full colour images, line drawings and audio. These resources are downloadable as PDFs.

Booklets with these descriptions are also available in Braille and large print from the Gallery’s Information Desk.
