With over 1,000 portraits of famous people to discover from the majestic portraits of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I in the Tudor Galleries to the pop stars and artists in the Contemporary galleries - the National Portrait Gallery is a perfect place for all the family to visit.  Families are welcome all year round, and with regular events and activities on offer from drop-in Sunday Sessions to Art workshops there is plenty of opportunity to find out more, be creative and have fun exploring together.
