Take Two Portraits: Emmeline Pankhurst and Camila

The Gallery has developed a new resource in collaboration with representatives from the Institute of Education, NIACE and ESOL tutors from Hackney and Westminster. The Take Two Portraits resources explore two portraits from the Gallery’s Collection with the aim of comparing the lives and achievements of the two sitters.

The resources have been designed to support learners’ Citizenship studies and to help them explore issues in contemporary Britain such as equality, women’s rights and campaigning.
