Vulnerable Children and Young People

The National Portrait Gallery has worked with organisations such as Barnardo’s, Action for Children, Chance UK and Save the Children to develop practical art activities and projects for underprivileged and vulnerable children, young people, carers and support staff. Practical art and photography workshops are available during the UK academic year and school holidays.

Taylor Wessing Community Programme Case Study: Kids Company

From October to December 2012 the National Portrait Gallery and Taylor Wessing worked in partnership to deliver a creative series of practical creative photography sessions to young people based at the Kids Company Urban Academy.
