This unique workshop gives students the opportunity to draw inspiration from the Collection, before experimenting with paper to create imaginative costume samples.

Working with tutors from the Royal School of Needlework, students draw inspiration and respond to examples of colour, pattern and textiles from Elizabeth 1 and her People exhibition and the Gallery’s permanent collection.

3D Portraits.
Inspired by the current display in room 33, Jacob Epstein Portrait Sculptor, students will explore form, shape, proportion and surface texture of the sculptures on show, before creating their’ own busts in clay.
