BODELWYDDAN CASTLE The Watts Hall of Fame | Portraits on display This hallway suggested an ideal setting for the Gallery's large collection of portraits by one of the Victorian period, George Frederic Watts. It has been decorated by Christopher Boulter in an appropriately late Aesthetic movement manner, influenced by William Morris wallpapers, Burne-Jones tapestries and the backgrounds of Watts's own paintings. |
