Paper Portraits - Falling Wide

Falling between dance and the visual arts, Paper Portraits explores danceís relationship to artistsí materials: how movement influences art, the choreography of construction and how line, colour and sculptural form can bear its mark on movement and space. Performed within the galleries, five dancers will create life-sized self-portraits influenced by the sitters in the Collection.

Dir. Jake Auerbach, 2007 (59 mins) Allen Jones has produced some of the most startling and zestful images of the past fifty years, in painting, sculpture and print. This film explores the artist and his work with contributions from former sitter, Prima Ballerina Darcey Bussell, his wife Deirdre Morrow, artist Gary Hume and Jones himself.
