My dear Watts,
How good and kind of you to give me this beautiful photograph!
Surely nothing better in its way was ever produced - so far as
my experience goes. Thank you must truly. I wish I - or my sister
- had been at home when you called with Mrs Watts: we should
have greatly valued your visit. I shall venture to call on you
and see you both, if I may be so privileged. Meantime and ever
believe me, dear Watts.
Yours gratefully and affectionately
Robert Browning
