Selected Letters Typed copy of a letter from Helen Taylor to Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 2nd Bt., dated 10 November [1873], requesting a visit to see G.F. Watts's portrait of her step-father John Stuart Mill.

10, Albert Mansions,
Victoria St., S.W.
10th November.

Dear Sir Charles Dilke,
I have been detained in London longer than I expected and I should like to see the portrait before I leave, as you were kind enough to propose. Will it be convenient to you if I come at 12 o'clock on Wednesday and may I bring Mr Hare and Lord and Lady Amberley with me?

Yours very sincerely,
HELEN TAYLOR.
