 Letter

Dear Sir

I feel equally honoured and gratified by the invitation for the Conversazione of the Graphic Society and I shall be most happy to avail myself of it as far as I may have it in my power.
I believe such assemblies are very valuable means of promoting knowledge of every kind and I am glad to see them applied to the fine arts. I beg you will express my thanks to the Society and believe

My dear Sir
Yours faithfully
C. Babbage
