Letter from Sir Thomas Lawrence to William Walker, dated 7 July 1825, regarding the sittings for, and projected completion of, a portrait of Henry Brougham.
 Letter

Russell Square
July the 7th 1825

Dear Sir,

From the number of our engagements it is not quite so easy for Mr Brougham and myself to meet, as certainly I could wish. I have written to propose an appointment to him, and have no doubt of receiving him again within these few days.

I go between the 15th & 20th and as I assur'd you, I shall not depart, without completing & sending to you this portrait.

I remain
Dear Sir,
Yours very truly
Thos. Lawrence

To W. Walker Esq.
