Letter from Sir Thomas Lawrence to Samuel Lysons, dated 20 October 1807, expressing his condolences regarding the illness of Mrs Lysons.

yet recover to bless her Family & Connections, and the Husband, whose tenderness and solicitude at this distressing moment, prove him to be so deserving of her. - It is however of the highest and soundest part of both your Characters to have other dependence for consolation then is felt by worldly men and this must be your support whatever happens.
Remember only that in doing all which your Heart dictates you do not more than your own strength can bear.
