My dear Hardinge
Thanks for your well intentioned and most kind Letters. Since we met I have become an older man perhaps wiser - my Health is not sound - any eagerness to make good professional promises and to renew my painting occupation (from which I have been almost weaned by devoting my time and energy to sculpture) - induces me to believe I am right
