Letter from J.E. Boehm to Professor W.H. Flower, dated 16 April 1884, thanking him for supplying the figure measurements of the late Dean Stanley.
 Letter

27 Marine Parade Brighton
April 16th 1884

Dear Professor Flower
Your very kind & gratifying letter has only just reached me here where I try to get rid of the remnants of bronchitis.

The success of Dean Stanley's likeness on the monument is not a little due to your wonderfully exact & minute measurements with which you favored me & which in absence of a cast were quite invaluable
