Sarah Miles
(b.1941)
Made her screen debut as a student
who seduces her school master Laurence Olivier in Term of
Trial (1962). Went on to become a leading star in the 1960s
and 1970s in films including; The Servant (1963), I
Was Happy Here (1966) and Ryan's Daughter (1970) for
which she received an Oscar nomination. Miles married writer-director
Robert Bolt in 1967.
