Sir Cecil Beaton was one of the
most inventive and outstanding portrait photographers of the
twentieth century, renowned for his images of elegance, style
and glamour.
Celebrating the centenary of
his birth in 1904, Cecil Beaton: Portraits brings together
over 150 portraits from the five remarkable decades of Beaton's
career. His subjects from the worlds of fashion, art and celebrity
include Greta Garbo, Coco Chanel, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando,
David Hockney, Twiggy and Andy Warhol.
