How to enter

There are three ways to register for the competition - online, by post/courier, and in person. Please follow one of the following procedures and read the delivery instructions for your photographs carefully.

Online
Visit www.npg.org.uk/photoprize between 1 May and 20 July 2008 to register online. You will receive an email confirming your registration number. Photographs must be delivered to London College of Communication either in person or by post/courier between 21 and 25 July 2008. Online registration will ensure a quicker, more efficient, check-in when delivering photographs.

By Post/Courier
If you have not already registered online, you may send in the completed entry form, registration fee and your photographs by post or by courier. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your photographs and notifying you of your registration number. Photographs must arrive at London College of Communication (address to the right) between 21 and 25 July 2008.

In Person
To register in person, take the completed entry form, registration fee and your photographs to London College of Communication between 21 and 25 July 2008.

Please do not send in your entries on any other dates and do not send anything direct to the National Portrait Gallery.

Further guidelines for the delivery/return of postal/courier entries will be provided once your entry has been received.

Important - fees are non-refundable. All entries from outside the United Kingdom will only be accepted if registration fees are paid by credit card.

All entrants whose payment cannot be cashed will be disqualified.
