The second photograph of the picture was so much better that I thought it would do for the book - & I have accordingly given Longmans permission to

use it.  Perhaps someday you will let me have the name of the other photographer for mention, so that if at any future time we wished to have the picture photographed again, I sh[oul]d know where to go to.
