Appendix: Lawrence’s account with Roberson’s

Sally Woodcock kindly transcribed the entries relating to Lawrence in two ledgers in the Roberson Archive in the Hamilton Kerr Institute, University of Cambridge, among the earliest in the archive. Page references are given after entries in both ledgers, likely to be cross-references to a day book or other ledger, now missing from the archive. In this appendix, raised letters at the end of words are given on the line and prices in shillings are given in the forms 2/6 for 2 shillings and sixpence, and 6/- for 6 shillings, reflecting, but not exactly displaying the form used in the original.
