Amet & Ladoue is the result of an encounter between French design and Indian artisan skills. After over 10 years working as partner and designer for prestigious international labels, Amet Jhunjhunwala and Nathalie Rolland decided to launch their own line.
The label quickly became famous for its French touch and refined stoles which are distributed on many international markets, in department stores as well as high-end boutiques.
The production workshop, located in Kolkata, performs all essential operations required to manufacture collections, from twisting to weaving, as well as printing and embroidery. The head office is also located there.
Central Cottage Industries, which handles confection for scarves as well as hand-embroidery work, is located in the city outskirts along the Ganges River. Finally, the factory in Bangalore handles more technical industrial operations and is reserved for specific weaves such as couture fabrics, jacquards (patterned fabrics), upholstery fabrics as well as interior decoration fabrics.
