Support us

As a registered charity, the National Portrait Gallery relies on the ongoing support of our work from visitors, trusts and foundations, corporate supporters, Members and individual benefactors. 40% of the Gallery’s funding is Government Grant-in-Aid and we self-generate 60% of the funds needed to keep the Gallery open and accessible to all. Please donate to help ensure that the Collection is maintained and developed for the enjoyment of visitors today and for future generations.
