Closure of Orange Street Entrance
The Orange Street Entrance will be closed for all access from 9 January to 9 June 2012 due to the Lucian Freud Portraits exhibition. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. There is step free access on St Martin's Place via the Gallery Shop. If you require further assistance please ask a member of staff. Please note the Orange Street Entrance will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for access to the Portrait Restaurant.
Contemporary galleries closure until 9 June 2012
Please note that the contemporary galleries (Rooms 35, 36, 37, 37a, 38, 38a, 39, 40, 41, 41a) and the Wolfson Gallery will be closed until 9 June 2012 for the Lucian Freud Portraits exhibition. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The Gallery’s Cloakroom is situated on floor -2 in Room 43 (Studio Gallery) during Lucian Freud Portraits.
Rooms 6 & 7 closure from 19-21 March 2012 for planned improvements.
Gallery opening hours
Open daily 10:00-18:00
Open until 21:00
Thursday and Friday.
Closing commences at 17.50 and 20.50.
Mondays - first and second floors open at 11:00.
Last admission to paying exhibitions is 45 minutes or 1 hour before Gallery closes.
