Afternoon Tea

Looking for a special afternoon tea venue? At Portrait Restaurant, where afternoon tea is served daily, you can relax and enjoy an unparalleled view including Nelson in Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye, a cheering situation whatever the weather.

Our set tea features a generous range of savouries, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream, and seasonally changing fancies crafted by our pastry chefs. The current menu includes Chocolate pot, salted caramel, Upside down rhubarb cake, Lemon meringue pie and Canelé, griottine, vanilla whipped cream. An excellent choice of tipples is available for those in a festive mood.

* Package includes a Band A Ticket, Afternoon Tea with Bellini or Prosecco and service charge. Tickets available for all evening performances, excluding Wed & Sat. Afternoon tea is available Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 4:15pm. Customers must have completed their meal by 5.30pm. Any additional items must be paid for. Subject to availability, valid until 1 September.

The Portrait Café, is on Floor -3, is a cosy sky-lit spot for light meals and scrumptious cakes, fine teas and hand-roasted coffees. Treat yourself to our sugar-crusted blueberry éclair, perfect with an espresso or cup of tea before heading home.

Summer at Portrait Café

Join us this summer for light bites and a refreshing range of drinks. We have new ice cream tubs – from classic Cornish clotted cream vanilla and chocolate through to boozy Mojito and G&T flavours. Sip on a glass of pink lemonade, or Pimm’s cocktail while tucking into our deliciously crispy artichoke tarts, or a satisfying tuna niçoise salad.

Breakfast: Monday-Sunday, 10:00-11:00
Lunch: Monday-Sunday, 11:45-15:00
Afternoon Tea: Monday-Sunday, 15:30-16:30
Pre Theatre: Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings, 17:30-18:30 2 courses - £19.95 per person or 3 courses - £23.50 per person
Dinner: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 18:30 - 20:00 (last order 20.30 and building closure time 22.30)

Dinner on Saturdays
Please be advised that reservations for Saturday evenings can only be made 6 weeks in advance. Entrance to The Portrait Restaurant on a Saturday evening after 18:00 would be via Orange Street (see map).
