Portrait Restaurant and Bar
Breathtaking by day and dramatic by night, the Portrait Restaurant’s celebrated view stretches from Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square down Whitehall to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye.
It’s a sensational accompaniment to the cuisine of Matthew Harris, who built an outstanding reputation over several years at Bibendum. Expect generous, carefully considered dishes based on British and European traditions, using first-rate produce regardless of whether you join us for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.

Picasso Portraits Exhibition Specials
Celebrate your visit to Picasso Portraits with a meal or drink at Level 3 Portrait Restaurant and Bar. Taking inspiration from the great artist’s life and career we’ve devised a delectable range of specials. At lunch or dinner, indulge in the rich flavours of bouillabaisse. A speciality of the South of France, where Picasso spent much of his life, it comes with saffron-laden rouille and toast and is the perfect antidote to cold weather. From the bar we have enticing drinks including the Olga, an absinthe martini including vodka, lime juice and lemonade, and the Paloma, a classy aperitif made with Campari, Italian vermouth and prosecco.
Our new Fernande bellini is inspired by Picasso’s Rose Period and exclusive to afternoon tea service, when we’ll also be featuring a scrumptious rose and orange macaron topped with creamy orange mousse and, denoting the Blue Period, a sugar-crusted blueberry éclair.
The geometric shapes of the Cubist period are referenced in our canapé menu for events, group bookings and private parties. Enjoy cubes of beef, chip and béarnaise, Provencale vegetable frittata with salsa verde, fig wedges with goat cheese and truffle honey, and smoked eel toasts with crispy bacon. Speak to our team about devising a party drinks and canapé package to suit your needs.
