To celebrate the Gallery's acquisition last year of John Everett Millais' portrait of the painter Louise Jopling, this display takes
a tour around late Victorian London based on Jopling's memoirs Twenty Years of My Life. It features portraits of many of Jopling's friends and colleagues, including James McNeill Whistler, Oscar Wilde and Millais himself.
