Tony Rushton, the magazine’s Art Director, takes a satirical glance at Private Eye. He joined the magazine in 1962 on the invitation of Peter Usborne, taking responsibility for the advertisement sales and layout of the magazine. 50 years later, he continues to work as Art Director.
Tony is in conversation with Anne Braybon, Photographs Commissions Manager at the National Portrait Gallery. Anne is an award- winning editorial art director and the event is inspired by the Gallery’s current Private Eye display of photographs by Lewis Morley.
