The ‘lost generation’ as they call it, D.J. Taylor captures both the fun and the sadness of the Roaring Twenties.  In this lecture David will talk about the remarkable history of the lost generation of the 1920s, a pleasure seeking band of bohemian party-goers and blue-blooded socialites who romped through the Jazz Age depression in the more serious 1930s.  The book ‘Bright Young People’ is published by Farrar Straus Giroux (6 Jan 2009).
