With Peter Blundell

From 1927 until his death, the strange and enigmatic 'late' paintings of Walter Sickert were largely dismissed by the art establishment of the time. The artist's use of found news photographs, slide projections and his painterly approach have over years come to exert great influence.Artists such as Alex Katz, Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter, Peter Doig and Marlene Dumas, all owe a debt to Walter Sickert.
