In this lecture Roberta Cremoncini will concentrate on the first half of the century, looking at the different styles and approaches by a selection of artists.
The lecture is organised by the Society of Portrait Sculptors.
Roberta Cremoncini is Director of the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian art in Islington. The gallery houses works by the Italian Futurists collected by Eric and Salome Estorick as well as figurative paintings and sculpture from 1895 to the 1950s. It displays changing exhibitions of early 20th century Italian art.
