This exhibition tells the story of Virginia Woolf, one of the leading modernist writers of the twentieth century, and paints a fascinating picture of Woolf’s life and her circle through portraits and archive material such as first editions, diaries, letters and manuscripts. It showcases Woolf’s pivotal role in the formation of the Bloomsbury Group, along with her emergence as a writer of distinction, and her unconventional thinking in terms of her desire to change society and politics.
